Brent J. Anderson
Based out of the Philadelphia office of Burns White, Associate Brent J. Anderson defends clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey against workers’ compensation claims.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Anderson clerked for the Hon. Thomas J. Shusted Jr. in the Superior Court of New Jersey in Camden, where he gained a strong procedural knowledge of court rules, analyzing the substance and procedures of about 40 motions per week.
Mr. Anderson received a J.D. and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University in January 2013. While there, he served on Rutgers University Bankruptcy Pro Bono Project and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Project. Mr. Anderson graduated from Haverford College in May 2009 with a B.A. in Economics. A Division III athlete, he played on the varsity men’s basketball team throughout his college career.
During law school, Mr. Anderson participated in several internships, including the Office of Disciplinary Counsel of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, with the Hon. Mary E. Colalillo.
A member of the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Montgomery County, and Philadelphia Bar Associations, Mr. Anderson is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
